The imaging center at Headache and Pain Center, amc is a cutting edge area where your pain can be diagnosed rapidly and without pain. We offer outpatient services for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Bone Density and X-ray in a relaxed office environment with our caring, knowledgeable staff.

The Open MRI, manufactured by General Electric, is one of a kind and offers the ease of open air MRI in the comfort of an office setting. MRI has many advantages in that it uses no x-rays and therefore is not harmful to your body. MRI testing can lead to early detection and treatment of many healthcare problems, such as multiple sclerosis, arthritis, tumors, herniated and degenerated discs, certain spinal conditions, and stroke.

Bone density testing and x-rays are also available to diagnose sources of pain that may be originating in the bones, soft tissues, ligaments, tendons, joints, nerves and muscles.

A bone density test can determine if you have osteoporosis or are at risk of osteoporosis before you break any bones. Early detection of osteoporosis can lead to more enjoyment in later years of life, pain-free.

A Bone Mineral Density (BMD) test, which can measure bone density in various parts of the body, can be performed for your convenience at the Headache and Pain Center, amc. BMD testing is one of the most accurate ways to assess your bone health.
